Students preparing for leadership in various fields of Christian service may apply for a grant. The Order of the Eastern Star does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender or religious belief in the administration of the scholarship program. While an Eastern Star chapter must sponsor an applicant, there is no requirement of Eastern Star affiliation.
The applicant must be a resident of ND at the time of initial application.
The student must be enrolled for the full academic year in an accredited University, Seminary or Bible College. Grants are not given for Summer School.
Applicants must be preparing for leadership in one of the following fields of religious service to be eligible for consideration:
- Ordained Minister
- Director of Church Music
- Director of Religious Education
- Counselor of Youth Leadership

Section I (2 pages) – To be filled out by applicant
Section IIA – To be filled out by the minister of applicant’s home church.
Section IIB – To be filled out bycollege, seminary or internship advisor or mentor
Section III – To be filled out by sponsoring Eastern Star Chapter (preferably home town chapter).
College Transcript To be sent directly to committee by college registrar
Date of Application: All forms must be returned on or before May 1st of each year.
