Charity Work

Our order supports several charitable causes including ESTARL scholarships, Masonic youth organizations, and annual star point projects.

ESTARL is an acronym for Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership.  In short, it is a program providing financial grants to students preparing for full-time Christian service. Established in 1952 in response to a concern for the decreasing number of persons preparing for the full-time Christian service and the increasing cost of tuition, the Grand Chapter of North Dakota grants ESTARL awards each year.

Learn more about our ESTARL scholarship program in our FAQ or learn how to apply for the scholarship.

The Grand Chapter also supports our state masonic youth organizations, the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and DeMolay.

This year’s star point projects are:

Adah-100Adah:  Cancer

Ruth-100Ruth: Service Dogs

esther-100Esther: Regenerative Medicine

martha-100Martha: ESTARL

electa-100Electa: Community Service Project (each chapter selects their own)

The North Dakota Grand Chapter also supports the special projects of the General Grand Chapter’s Most Worthy Grand Matron, the Regenerative Medicine Project and Support for our First Responders.
